i would go visiting on that day and get alot alot of angpaos , this would be added up and worth up to couple of hundred dollars!! Normally i would save and purchase something of my desire with this amount of money. Now back to Chinese New year we would visit relatives and respect them by giving them oranges , those married would give us ang paos ( red packets ) =) !!
